I began my interest in music during childhood, playing the trombone and guitar. But my desire to learn the violin occurred in my early 40s. Although not a typical age range for someone to declare they have experienced one of the best teachers in their life, I am genuinely fortunate to say this about Christine Faught. I have a doctorate degree, therefore I have had my fair share of teachers, but Christine truly shines the brightest. The level of passion she brings to each violin lesson encourages me to continue my musical journey. I witness the interactions she has with her students prior to and after my own lessons. The personalized instruction she applies to each student shows her commitment to their success. She fosters a positive learning environment that encourages healthy relationships with students and their guardians (parents). I feel blessed to learn from this wonderful teacher, thank you Christine for enriching my life.

“Christine Faught was our son’s first group class violin teacher. This may not seem like anything momentous, but our son was only 3 years old and painfully reserved. Mrs. Faught lovingly nurtured him through this stage of his musical development, patiently including him in all activities even though there was significant discrepancy with that of the other students. The result was a beautiful blossoming of our son into a confident violinist who not only loved to play, but also loved attending group class. He couldn’t wait to go to group class and see Mrs. Faught. Between classes he would lovingly talk about how beautifully she played her violin. To put it lightly, he was star-struck. What our son was picking up on (which is perhaps Christine’s best trait, in my humble opinion) was that Christine Faught loves music. She loves to play, she loves to teach, she loves to be immersed in a musical environment…and she lovingly shares that with her students. We love Christine and can’t thank her enough for all she poured into our son.” – Lindsey H.

“I have been playing violin for 2 years with Ms. Christine and I have enjoyed every second of it. She teaches the material amazingly (The Suzuki Method) and she is really nice. Sometimes I don’t want to practice and all I need is a lesson to get back to it. I really appreciate her and I wouldn’t ever want to go to a different teacher.“ -Ellie
